TeraPlast, one of the most important polymer processors in the Eastern European Union and the only producer of HFFR granules in Romania, celebrates 15 years since its listing on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB). The company's shares have been traded on the stock exchange since July 2, 2008, under the ticker symbol TRP. In the 15 years of its presence on the stock exchange, the company’s capitalization has increased more than 4 times, currently reaching a value of over RON 1.1 bn.
"TeraPlast is a Romanian entrepreneurial product that got to where it is today based on the vision of the majority shareholder, supported by the other over 13,000 shareholders and implemented by over 900 colleagues to produce an accelerated development model. TeraPlast is a mirror of the Romanian economy, with ups and downs, but with long-term orientation and resilience in difficult times. The listed company status facilitated our increase in turnover from RON 219 mn in 2007 to RON 711 mn last year and in assets from RON 170 mn to almost RON 700 mn. We invested almost RON 800 mn, money that we chose not to distribute as dividends, but to use for building our future, transforming from a provincial company into the largest polymer processor in Central and South-Eastern Europe. We will continue to grow rapidly and expand, both in Romania and abroad", stated Alexandru Stânean, CEO TeraPlast.

TeraPlast was listed on the BVB Main Market under the stock symbol TRP, on July 2, 2008, following an offer worth RON 50 mn. In the 15 years since the listing and until July 3, 2023, investors have made over 275,000 transactions with over 2.4 billion shares, with a value of over RON 1.4 bn. At the end of the trading session on Friday, June 30, TeraPlast's capitalization was RON 1.1 bn, a value 4 times higher than the capitalization since its debut on the stock exchange. Considering the dividends distributed by the company during these years, the investment made in TeraPlast shares has brought a return of 458% from listing to date.
From 2020, TeraPlast is part of the benchmark indices of BVB, BET and BET-TR, the index which also includes the dividends granted by the companies in the BET indices. The company's shares are also in the BET-XT, BET-BK, BETPlus, ROTX, BET-XT-TR, BET-TRN, and BET-XT-TRN indices. Since 2021, the company's shares have been included in the FTSE Russell indices dedicated to emerging markets, FTSE Global All Cap. TeraPlast has been part of the MSCI Frontier IMI (Investable Market Index), dedicated to frontier markets. Also, from February 2020, the company benefits from the Issuer's Market Marker services provided by BRK Financial Group. In 2022, the Bucharest Stock Exchange issued the first ESG scores on the local capital market available on the BVB Research Hub platform, part of the reports prepared by Sustainalytics, one of the global leaders in the segment of providing ESG analysis and ratings. TeraPlast was among the first 8 companies for which reports prepared by Sustainalytics were produced within the collaboration with BVB initiated in 2020.
