Bistrița, December 29, 2025
TeraPlast informs the investors and the public that it has concluded a sale agreement for the land located on Zefirului Street in the city of Bistrița, where one of its production units previously operated. The asset has remained unused following the relocation of TeraPlast’s operations to the Sărățel industrial park during 2010–2011.

The transaction was completed with FAR Foundation, a Romanian company with more than 15 years of tradition and solid experience in civil and industrial construction. The total value of the transaction amounts to EUR 2.71 million. The transaction was supported by the parties’ common perspective on responsible community development.
“Through this transaction, we close a chapter that no longer made operational sense for us and turn an unused plot of land into a tangible source of liquidity. We have wanted to sell this land for some time, but chose to wait for the right moment: a fair offer and a project with substance, capable of delivering real value to the community. It also mattered that the local authorities shared this approach, supporting a proper development of the area through the approved zoning plan. Moreover, we are selling to a Romanian company with construction expertise and the financial strength required to develop a large-scale project — a small urban neighborhood, very close to the center of Bistrița. In this way, the land re-enters the economic circuit and contributes to healthy urban development in a central area, for the benefit of the city residents.” said Mr. Dorel Goia, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Teraplast.
The sale of this land is part of the TeraPlast Group’s strategy to optimize its asset portfolio and ensure efficient use of capital by monetizing assets that no longer support the company’s operational and financial objectives.
The company believes that this transaction reinforces the Group’s financial discipline while also contributing to the economic and urban development of the area.
