Street drains or geigers, as they are also known by a large part of users, are a component of a sewerage network that is used to collect rainwater from road surfaces, from parking lots or other fitted areas and direct it to the collection pipe of the sewerage network. All components are lightweight and can be handled by a single person, therefore, the installation of drains it is much simplified and fast, without additional costs generated by other machines. In addition to these advantages, transportation is much easier and at a much lower cost. TeraPlast offers a modern and efficient drain, made of plastic, with a multi-element type constructive structure. See also Non-street drains.

In general, the rainwater from terraces or balconies is drained using receivers of medium or small drainage capacities.  Receivers for terraces and balconies from HL allow the drainage of surfaces between 16sqm and 100sqm with a single receiver (considering rain intensity of 300 l(secxha).

Thus, the range of receivers for these applications includes receivers for terraces, with high drainage capacities, made of PP, with side (D75mm) or vertical (D75/110mm) outlet connections, as well as receivers with lower drainage capacities, for medium and small terraces or balconies, made of PE, with side (D40/50/75mm) or vertical (D50/75/110mm) outlet connections.

As a result, HL offers the possibility of building terraces with even a single rainwater drainage point. To choose the appropriate receivers and accessories, it is necessary to know the detailed plan of the terrace structure (ceiling material, thermal insulation, waterproofing used, the existence or not of diffusion membranes or condensation barrier, layer thickness, etc.).
