The drainage system with still pipes and PVC slots with compact wall
Teraplast produces PVC pipes with compact wall, stiff, for drainage, foreseen with elastomeric gasket and socket, with diameters between 110 and 400 mm, in SN4 and SN8 ring rigidity classes. The pipes are made in bars with installed socket and gasket, with lengths of 6m.
This type of system is used to drain underground water, especially in special conditions when the static and dynamic loads are high, such as railway applications, high class loading roads, etc. In addition to the classical applications described above, this type of system can also be used to collect leachate in solid waste landfills or to capture biogas from domestic landfills.
The max. acceptable flow temperature of the fluid is 60°C.
The physicochemical features and, implicitly, the advantages of this system are similar to those of the PVC-U system described in the chapter PVC-U Pipes and Fittings for external sewers.
The drainage pipes are manufactured according to the SF 97/2015 standard by performing additional milling of some slots on the circumference of compact PVC pipes with the help of specialized machine. The slots are made perpendicular to the pipe axis.
The slots are 1.00 mm and 2.00 mm in size with a distance of 10.00 mm between them.
The pipes can be made with 1, 2, 3 or 4 rows of slots. The opening degree depends on the number of rows of slots executed.
Thus will have :
With 4 rows of slots – 360°
With 3 rows of slots – 270°
With 2 rows of slots – 180°
With 1 row of slots – 90°
For this type of pipes can be used the fittings injected from PVC SN 4 or SN 8, presented in detail in the PVC-U pipes and fittings chapter for exterior sewage whit whom are perfectly compatible.
The drainage system with flexible pipes with corrugated PVC slots
The flexible corrugated PVC pipe system for drainage is a complete system that contains PVC pipes with a single wall, that are used especially to drain groundwater for residential buildings, to protect against moist and groundwater, that acts on foundations and walls, on the side of the roads, outside traffic areas, sports fields or in agriculture, to drain grasslands or other lands or for the dissipation and infiltration of water from small water cleaning stations. In general, the use of this system is recommended for relatively simple applications that do not require ring rigidity.
The diameter range of this system comprises pipes with a diameter between 50 and 160 mm
The pipes are produced and delivered in coils with lengths of 50 m. Each coil is provided with a special double socket for connection to the next section. The pipes are also available and can also be ordered with a synthetic filter coating. (Pipes are coated in a geotextile cloth).
The max. acceptable flow temperature of the fluid is 60°C.
The drainage pipes are manufactured through extrusion according to SR EN61386-23: 2004 standard, by making some slots on the circumference of corrugated PVC pipes with the help of specialized machine. The slots are made perpendicular to the pipe generator. The pipes are provided with slots all around the circumference (360 °). The correspondence between the number of slots per section and on the free take-over area (in cm2 / m) can be found in the following part of the catalogue that details this range. The system is complemented by a range of injected fittings created especially for this type of pipe.
The drainage system with flexible pipes with corrugated PE slots with double wall
The corrugated flexible polyethylene drainage system for drainage is a complete system that contains double-wall corrugated PE pipes that are used in surface and deep drainage systems, undercrossing and drainage for roads, railways, stadium construction, and other civil or industrial engineering, or other applications where high ring rigidity is required.
The corrugated pipes have the interior wall smooth, from medium density polyethylene, and the exterior wall, from high density polyethylene, profiled and glued to the interior inside in the contact areas. The corrugated structure ensures pipeline flexibility and minimal material consumption per unit of length for a given diameter and ring rigidity.
The system comprises flexible PE pipes for double wall drainage with diameters between 90 and 200 mm in the ring rigidity classes SN4, SN8 according to EN ISO 9969.
The external shock resistance is in accordance with EN744 and the ring flexibility according to EN1446
The pipes are produced and delivered in coils of different lengths, depending on the diameter of the pipe. Each coil is provided with a special double socket for connection to the next section.
The max. acceptable flow temperature of the fluid is 40°C.
The drainage pipes are manufactured according to the SR EN 13476-3: 2009 standard, by making slots on the circumference of corrugated PE pipes with the help of specialized machine. The slots are made perpendicular to the pipe generator.
The pipes are provided with three types of slots: 360 °, 225 ° and 135 °. The slots through which water penetrates into the tube are symmetrically located on the circumference and along the entire length of the pipe. These perforations occupy approximately between 50 and 100 cm2 / m2 of the surface of the pipe for free water flow depending on the perforation option.
The correspondence between the number of slots per section and on the free take-over area (in cm2 / m) can be found in the following part of the catalogue that details this range.
The system is complemented by a range of injected fittings created especially for this type of pipe.
