The advantages of rigid PVC pipes as compared to concrete pipes |
Longer lifetime: 50 years guarantee in correct conditions of exploitation. |
| |
High chemical and electrochemical resistance. |
| |
Reduced charge losses in the residual waters sewage, owing to the smooth internal surface, and implicit a superior flowing degree. |
| |
Very good impermeability, avoiding in this way the pollution of the phreatic water layer with sewage networks residues. |
| |
Reduced weight, making an easy handling and transportation. |
| |
High flexibility |
| |
Simple and fast joining, reduced manual labour. |

Application areas |
elastic joint (dismountable) can be used in unsteady fields, seismic zones, high linear thermical extension zones. |
| |
The joinings where sealing rings are used are more flexible than those with cement socket, having a superior mechanical properties; their elasticity allows the taking over of the linear and angular deformations from the network or the ground. For pipes mounting in PVC networks, it is recommended to use rigid PVC fittings owing to their chemical resistance, high fiability and lack of sediments.
The PVC network connection to the metallic or other materials networks can be made using adequate passing fittings
