II. 1. Pex-Al tubes for cold and hot water supply and heating

The networks with multilayer pipes made from composite material PE-Al-PE represent a viable alternative for iron, copper or plastic pipes. Pex-Al system combines composite pipes with compression fittings made from brass or PPSU and jewel setting fittings .

The advantages of multilayer networks:

		internal and external corrosion resistance;
		pressure and high temperature resistance;
		long lifetime;
		reduced weight;
		easy handling, the pipes are bending manually - simple and fast installation, without tapping or welding operations required;

Multilayer tube structure:

Outer layer:

reticulated high density polyethylene, offers protection against external agents

Intermediate layer:

longitudinal welded aluminum insures higher resistance to dilatations , protection against oxygen and volatile gases

Inner layer:

Electronically reticulated high density polyethylene, offers resistance against water and acids corrosion, it does not allow depositions

Adhesive layers:

		they bond the two layers of polyethylene with the intermediate aluminum one, thus the pipe reacts like a mono-composite system. Due to electronic reticulation.
		Aluplex multilayer tubes don't have an odor or taste influence on the transported agent.
