Orizont is an exclusive product of Teraplast, which comes in a complete system, from design and manufacturing, to transportation and mounting, all done by professionals in two PVC joinery factories located in Bistrita and Brasov, provided with the latest technologies.The confectioning technology is determinant for quality window achievement.

The window is a unit made of fixed frame (casement) and rabbets in which glass is fastened, mounted in a regular opening left in the building wall in order to allow the entry of air and light.
Orizont windows are made with Orizont 5000 extruded PVC profiles, with 5 insulating chambers, having the outer walls of 3 mm and the inner walls of 1 mm. Therefore, we have class A profiles. The Orizont windows are provided with Low E and Argon thermo-insulating glass, which reduces heat losses 60% better than simple thermo-insulating glass. All these determine an increase of thermal
and phonic barriers. Thus, lower coefficient of thermal transfer (1,3 W/mp*K) and higher degree of phonic insulation (37-45 dB) are obtained. Windows with thermo-insulating special glass – reflexive, mat, mass-coloured, ornamental or security – can also be made.

Our products come in various colours, dyed with the entire RAL colour range or wood ennobled (oak, mahogany). We are also manufacturing special (curved) windows.
Orizont windows comply with the SR EN 12608 standard and their profile system Orizont 5000 is class A. The products are technically agreed. |

chambers, with its 3 sealing gaskets, larger width of the profile (75 mm), median sealing wing, along with the possibility of mounting a thermo- insulating glass up to 33 mm of thickness, was especially created to obtain a higher thermal insulation degree, owing to a small value of thermic transfer k = 1,3 W/mp*K). |

“Noise protection” :

Noise is nowadays a problem for everyone. The Orizont system allows the obtaining of a noise reducing index of about 37- 45 dB, ensuring the comfort and the quietnesswe all need. |

“Humidity protection” :

The Orizont system does not allow the
humidity resulting from rains to enter or the condensation to appear onto the window, having a better tightness to air and water owing to its 3 sealing gaskets. In the Orizont system, the condensation appears only if the air humidity is higher than 81%, comparing to 3 chambers systems, with condensation occurring
at 75% humidity (thermal conditions: -4°C outside, +20°C inside) |
